I am so stinking excited that I finally own this domain. Yayaaaaa!!! Maybe I’m being a bit geeky, but I don’t care. I have been wanting to claim this as mine for a while, and I finally took the plunge. I kept talking myself out of it because I felt like I couldn’t afford to operate my own website for a long period of time. but I took a step out on faith. And I am prayerful that this is a good move for me and a step toward what I have in mind for the future.
I made my first attempt at owning my own business not long after I turned 18. I tried selling Avon. Most people who know me know that I don’t wear makeup (with the exception of lip gloss and, occasionally, earth-toned eyeshadow) and, honestly, I’m not very girly. I saw an ad about two or three months ago for a website called ABCmouse. As you may know, I am set on homeschooling Christian. I am also a huge fan of experential learning — learning through doing and playing. So whenever I see resources like this one, I am all over it!
