Being a new mom can be tough. Even if it’s not your first time around the block. When I first had Christian, I admit that I didn’t do a very good job of taking care of myself.

Can I get real with you for a minute?
I need socialization just as much as my son does. Shoot, maybe even more!

Christian is 5.5 years old now (Wow..time flies! Seems like it was just yesterday that I was sharing the story of his birth). I admit that up until recently, I really didn’t expect him to help out much around the house. I pretty much stuck to asking him to clean up after himself.
