FTC Disclaimer: I was given the opportunity to spread the word about Groupon’s mission to save people more money. Though this post is compensated, it is 100% my opinion as a long-time Groupon user.
If you know me, you know that I hate spending money. I. Am. Cheap. Or should I say frugal? However, I do buy things that I need (and some that I just really want). I am also always on the look out for ways to save money on those things. That is why I really love Groupon.
I have been using Groupon since 2012. They would often have awesome deals for Vistaprint, which is the company I always used for my business cards. I almost NEVER paid full price for my business cards. Another exciting purchase I made through Groupon was a diamond earring and necklace set that I still have for special occasions. It was a STEAL! Seriously. They were on sale for just shy of $30 and I had $30 in Groupon credit. Altogether, I only paid a little over $2 out of pocket. For diamond jewelry! Of course, they weren’t huge diamonds, but still…a great deal!
When you visit Groupon’s website , you will immediately see that they have a TON of awesome things on sale. They tend to show you local things on the homepage, in addition to online deals. I actually see something that I am very tempted to buy. I recently started painting as a new creative outlet and see a deal for one of those cool events where you paint and drink wine. Painting+People+Wine? And 40% savings! Yes, please! Might need to organize a ladies night.
Another really cool thing that Groupon offers are Groupon coupons. Yes, you read that right! Groupon has coupons! So you can save even more money on the things that you planned to buy anyway. Here are some brands that currently have Groupon Coupons that you might find interesting (click each brand to check out their deals):
Carter’s– Cute clothes for the kids
Kohl’s– Thing for the family and the home
Shutterfly– Awesome for making photo books
Tea Collection– More cute stuff for the kids
Travelocity– Save money on summer vacation
Advance Auto Parts– In case you have car issues and need to save a bit of money
