I’ve been working as a freelance writer/blogger for over 5 years. I feel very fortunate that I have been able to earn income doing something that I am not only good at, but that I enjoy. However, it’s not all butterflies and rainbows. Some aspects are awesome. Others suck…big time.

If you follow my blog or my fan page you have probably noticed that I homeschool my son. We have been homeschooling for the past two years, even though this is his first “official” year a s a kindergartner. Some days I admit that I am just NOT feeling it. And by ‘it’, I mean adulting. I don’t want to do much more than lay on the couch with my son, watching Netflix and playing video games. Maybe taking a nap. Actually, that’s pretty much what we did all day today. Sorry, not sorry.

However, I can’t do that every day. I have to take care of my son and make sure the bills get paid.
