Today I was chatting with a friend about how much I have been slacking on so many important things. I haven’t been working my businesses the way that I should. I haven’t been blogging consistently. I haven’t been on top of things in school. I have also been feeling overwhelmed lately because of how much I am NOT getting done that I actually want and need to do. I mean, I do the essentials…but there is so much more that I want to accomplish.
This is going to be a quick one. I participated in the Biannual Blogathon bash this year. The first two days were great. I completed some challenges, spent 12 hours working on my blog, and learned quite a bit. However, Saturday night my son started vomiting, and hours later, so did I. The stomach virus made its way into our house. Bah! And it was not pleasant. Even now, I feel horrible. Hence the brevity.
So…I don’t think it comes as any surprise to people who really know me that I have struggled with my weight for about 8 or 9 years. Up until my freshman year of college, I was pretty fit. However, I was also more active. I dabbled a bit in sports and did a lot of musical theater (so loads of dancing during rehearsals and performances). But then came college. Suddenly every meal that I ate was buffet style.
Well, folks…it’s that time of year again. The Winter 2014 session of the Biannual Blogathon bash has officially kicked off! What does that mean? From now until the end of the weekend, I will be spending a lot of time dedicated to improving my blog. Not just writing posts — taking care of all of the behind-the-scenes stuff that you guys don’t get to see or hear about. I joined in on the events last year and each time I had a blast learning more about what it takes to create a successful blog.
One question that I am asked all the time is “what kind of legitimate work-at-home jobs are available out there?” Emphasis on ‘legitimate’. Despite the fact that there are countless men and women making some serious money working from home, there is still a lot of doubt out there about whether it is possible. They are essentially asking me…
I am here to tell you, in no uncertain terms,
