Unpopular Opinion: Nani from the live-action Lilo & Stitch movie isn’t the villain you think she is.
In fact, the spirit of Ohana might be even MORE alive in this version — because this time, it doesn’t come at the expense of the oldest child.
I haven’t watched the live-action Lilo & Stitch yet, but I have seen people losing it over this whole “Nani gives up custody” thing.

Fear can be crippling. It can also have many forms and symptoms.
Fear of the Unknown
For some people, the unknown can be exciting and thrilling. It is full of possibilities. However, for many people those possibilities don’t always enter our minds as positive things. Instead, we think about all of the bad things. The what-ifs that scare us. That fear might be totally irrational.
Some days I admit that I am just NOT feeling it. And by ‘it’, I mean adulting. I don’t want to do much more than lay on the couch with my son, watching Netflix and playing video games. Maybe taking a nap. Actually, that’s pretty much what we did all day today. Sorry, not sorry.
However, I can’t do that every day. I have to take care of my son and make sure the bills get paid.
Yesterday, Christian and I attended a MOPS playdate at a local church. Afterwards, I decided to swing by our plot at the community garden, which is not far from the church. When we got there, I was overwhelmed by how much work there was to do. You see, it’s been so hot here in Arkansas that we have been neglecting our gardening duties. From the state of the plots surrounding ours, we were far from the only ones.
