I’m going to be honest – I haven’t been enjoying blogging.

I started this blog back in 2010, when I was in the third trimester of my pregnancy. It was meant to be an online diary of sorts.

Anyone who really knows me knows that I love to write. I used to write all the time growing up. I also kept a series of diaries for several years that I wrote in nearly every day.

I am always on the lookout for games, toys, and apps that are not only fun, but educational. My son, Christian, loves playing games (what kid doesn’t), so I feel like if he is going to spend so much time playing them, I might as well focus on buying ones that will also teach him valuable concepts. Earlier this year, I was hanging out with my friend and her son (who happens to be my cousin and Christian’s best friend).

One thing that I was surprised to learn when I started genuinely working from home was that it can be a lot more challenging than working a more traditional job. The hours can be longer. It can be more difficult to know exactly when to clock in and when to clock out. One of the things that I struggled with was finding a good balance between my home/family life and my work life. I often found that there wasn’t enough of a boundary between these two aspects of my life.
