Christian and I received a complimentary copy of a children’s book called “Have You Ever Wondered About Angels”. It was written by Chris Alexandria and illustrated by Alex Levitas. I received no compensation for this review. It is my honest review of the book.

The first thing I noticed about the book was the illustration on the front cover. It was really attention-grabbing. In fact, it grabbed and maintained Christian’s attention.

The very first page in the book features a poem that is written to the little owner of the book along with spaces to write their name as well as the name of the gift-giver. Here is the poem:

This book is very special

It’s been given to you with love

All the angels and the fairies

Will be watching from above

So when you start to read theis “Pick-a-Woo Woo’ book

We ask that you listen carefully

And at the pictures really look

Listen to your inner voice

Look at what is in your mind

Some very special messages

Will come your way you’ll find

Please share your storybook

Enjoy it and have some fun

Please pass the loving messages

On to each and everyone

The book seeks to answer some of the questions that children may have about angels. What are their wings made of? How do they fly? How can I talk to them? I thought that the answers were a nice, whimsical way to answer these questions and to make children feel safe and protected in their belief of these divine beings. I also really liked the idea of there being angel children and not just the adult warrior angels that I think of when I imagine angels. Christian really enjoyed having this book read to him as well as flipping through it on his own.

This book is part of the Pick-a-Woo Woo series. These books are designed to encourage spiritual growth as they explore stories of “angels, spirits, love, meditation, emotions, feelings, souls, crystals, prayer, fairies, healing, listening, universal laws, and more”.

“Have you ever Wondered About Angels has won the Silver in the Mom’s Choice Award for Bedtime Stories. If you would like to check get your hands on a copy of the book, you can do so on Chris Alexandria’s website.

Here are a few pictures of Christian showing off, listening to, and reading his book.

Hey, I’m Tiffany! I’m a single mom to a teenage boy, living in Central Arkansas with our two cats: Berlioz, the belly-rub-loving shadow, and Zenitsu, our adorable little terror who keeps life interesting. I work from home, homeschool, and juggle about 47 mental tabs at once thanks to ADHD.

I started Single Mommy Warrior to talk honestly about life as a single mom. The good. The hard. The funny. The parts people usually gloss over. Parenting alone. Working from home. Dating. Healing. Trying again. Learning as I go.

Professionally, I’m a copywriter who helps women grow their businesses with honest, ethical, personality-driven copy. Personally, I’m a geeky, book-loving, anime-watching human who still believes dream houses should come with libraries and secret rooms.

This isn’t a “perfect mom” blog. It’s a real one. And you’re welcome here.
