About the book: Book One in the Amish Wonders series.

How far can God’s mercy reach?

Lindie Wyse is pregnant out of wedlock and thinks an arranged marriage is the only way to preserve her future. Josiah Plank is certain he’ll never love again, but he needs someone to care for his eight-year-old daughter, Hannah. The two take on their arrangement tentatively at first but soon realize they are each in for more than they imagined.

Lindie experiences a breakthrough with Hannah when she recognizes Hannah’s special gifts, but a risky pregnancy and serious health issues threaten to demolish the foundation Josiah and Lindie are building. Will their growing love survive despite their struggles, or will their hearts become as cold as the northern winter?

My Review: I actually didn’t know what to expect when i began reading this. As far as i can recall i have never read Amish fiction. I don’t really know much about Amish culture aside from what we are shown in movies and on TV, so i wan’t sure what type of action or dialogue to expect from this story. however, it was a very enjoyable read with gripping characters and a great plot. I also really loved the inspiring nature of the story. I might have to go pick up some more books from this genre to see how they compare.

Author: SingleMommyWarrior

I am a 29 year old single mommy to a beautiful boy born in October 2010. In addition to this awesome role, I also have a home-based business and am a freelance writer. All with the goal of being able to stay at home with my son. No 9 to 5 for this mama! I am weeks away from obtaining my Master's in Educational Psychology and hope to obtain a teaching position at some point in the future. Preferably online. Lol. I also plan to homeschool my son.

I'm pretty laidback (seemingly shy even) but only when you first meet me. After getting to know me, the truth is revealed that I am awkward, goofy, have a sometimes morbid sense of humor, love laughing and making people laugh, and have a sincere hatred of any type of dishonesty or intolerance. With that being said, I am a Christian and give all the glory for EVERYTHING to God.
