Here’s one thing you may not know about me: I have hypothyroidism. Actually, I don’t have a thyroid at all. I had it removed back in January of 2009. Just a few short days before Obama’s inauguration (I actually have a pretty hilarious story about that time period – I may share it one day).
I sat down today to talk about my thoughts on 2016 and this coming year. However, after writing, the post ended up being a few thousand words long, so I decided to break it up into 3 sections. The first section was “Reflecting on 2016”. This one, however, is devoted to my plans for 2017 and beyond. My current life goals are:

A few days, ago I decided to take up keeping a journal again. So, I headed to our local Tuesday Morning store to look for a new journal. They always have such cute things for great prices, so I was pretty hopeful. I was right! I found a gorgeous set of journals for just $5!
Yesterday, I decided to break in the one that says Anything Is Possible.

I have a confession to make.

At least when it comes to decorating for Christmas. Being honest, I haven’t put up a Christmas tree in probably 3 years.
Part of it is because I’ve never really viewed myself as being physically creative.
But this year, I wanted to do something different.
