If you follow my blog or fan page, you know that I have been working from home as a freelance writer and blogger for over 4 years. Over the years, I have had a lot of people send me private messages asking me how they can start a blog and even earn extra money from it. Though I would love to be able to help everyone, there are only so many hours in the day. Besides, I’m honestly not a blogging expert.
I spend a lot of time trying to learn more about the industry myself and still have a lot to learn. I read books, listen to podcasts, take courses, watch webinars, and network with other bloggers to find out what I can do to improve my blog. I recently came across a blog that BLEW MY MIND. It is all about how to start a mom blog. Though I don’t truly feel like I fit the mold of a mommy blog and am not a “newbie” blogger (I’ve been blogging for nearly 6 years), the depth of the information on this blog was AMAZING. So much value! You could apply the information to so many different niches.

After reading about everything that is in the book (and remembering how value-packed her blog content is), I was pretty much yelling “Shut up and take my money!”
Oh. My. Glob. Yall…this ebook is CRAZY good! I am simultaneously in awe of and jealous of her research and compilation skills. And that is pretty much what I do for a living, so that says something. She walks you through choosing your niche, getting your domain name, figuring out the theme of your blog, creating a content schedule for your awesome blog posts, promoting your blog, monetizing it, and so much more! She has lists out the wazoo of a ton of groups and other resources you can use to not only build your blog, but make it a success.
Don’t believe me? These are just some of the things you will find in the ebook.
Ok, so can we talk about this one real quick. I LOVE that she is transparent about the fact that it takes time and effort to make money blogging. It is NOT a get-rich-quick thing. She is not selling us on some pipe dream of earning 5 figures in the next 90 days or some of the other ridiculous claims you see floating around. And I love her for that!
And then there’s the workbook! The workbook gives you access to a bunch of VERY valuable Google sheets that you can edit as you build your blog. I am telling you that having things like this at your fingertips is soooo helpful in helping you to strategize and schedule everything.
I also love that she has it set up so that you could feasibly be well on your way to an awesome blog in two weeks. She even gives you an estimate of how long each task should take. This is really helpful for busy moms who don’t have a ton of free time.
In short, if you are looking for a resource that will guide you step-by-step through the process of brainstorming, launching, and monetizing your blog, this one is worth the investment. If you’re wondering about the costs, it is very affordable. I’ve seen people charge hundreds of dollars to teach people how to blog. Suzi is practically giving it away at$17.99 for the ebook (and the accompanying workbook. If you want to take the course as well, the investment is $47. I’m telling you, that is a really great deal!
