DISCLOSURE POLICY

Updated March 17, 2017

Hey, thanks for visiting!

My goal at SingleMommyWarrior.com is to share my experience as a single WAHM and homeschooler. I also work to provide helpful tips, tools, and resources for other moms.

I cover topics such as working from home, making money online, freelancing, homeschooling, time management, organization, productivity, and living life by your own design.

The information you see on this site is free to readers and subscribers. However, I spend a lot of time doing research, testing things, and creating content. I don’t expect for my readers to pay my bills, but I do enjoy being compensated for my effort, so I have agreements with some companies to pay me. I try to make this process as straightforward as possible and unobtrusive for readers.

I display some advertisements as well as participate in affiliate programs. I also sometimes create sponsored content. These methods enable me to earn some income so that I can continue to provide valuable content on the blog.

I promise that I only promote products that I personally use or that I feel comfortable recommending. I never want to compromise my integrity or the trust of my readers.

My Thoughts on Promoting

I try my best to think about products and services from the perspective of my readers. I only want to promote things that I feel my readers could benefit from. If I don’t think something is worth buying or using, I don’t promote it.

Most of the products that I recommend, I have personally paid for and used.  However, I sometimes promote product that I have used, but that I received for free. Sometimes I may promote things that I used for a period of time and enjoyed, but that I no longer use. Not because it is not a good product, but because my needs have changed. Very rarely, I will promote a product that comes highly recommended by someone I trust, but that I have not used myself. In all cases, I only promote things that I feel comfortable recommending.

What is an affiliate link / referral link?

Throughout this site, you will see me reference my use of affiliate links or referral links. These references are called disclosures and are a requirement set forth by the FTC in the U.S.

These FTC disclosures are designed to let you know that I have a relationship with a particular product or service. If you choose to purchase that product or service via my affiliate link, I will get a small commission. This is at no extra cost to you, but it does help me to be able to spend more time working on content. My family really appreciated your support in this way. Thank you!

My own products

In addition to promoting products and services from other companies and individuals. I also offer my own products and services. I currently offer freelance writing services and printable. Any profit generated from sales of my products and services come directly to me. I have plans to offer additional products in the future. I will update this disclosure policy if necessary.
